Okay, I told you I got a new cake book in the mail last week and I couldn't wait to try out a new recipe!
We have just moved into a new apartment in a new city so I didn't quite have all of my cake tools with me so please excuse the not so pretty icing of the cake.
The recipe was simply delicious though!
This was a chocolate-butter cake with cookies and cream filling!!! It was absolutely wonderful! I did try the house buttercream recipe in the book as well and I must say I'm not really a fan of the icing!
Anyway, the colors remind me of pickles and grapes! Yummy in my big pregnant tummy! :)
